When you mention the state of Arizona most people envision a vast desert wasteland with little water, rattlesnakes, scorpions, and heat. Although all these things are truly found in Arizona, the state actually is comprised of many different eco systems. Many of these diverse eco systems are included below.
First let us discuss this photograph. This photograph was taken near the border of the White Mountain Apache Tribal lands. Many ranches were located in the northeastern part Arizona due to it’s climate and rich pastures for raising cattle and sheep. Two of my passions are traveling and photography. I caught the traveling bug when I was in the military. The love for photography actually developed when I was trying to capture memories of my children as they were growing older. What better way to spend my retirement than to travel and try to improve my photographic skills. I hope you enjoy these photographs. Photographs can enhance the beauty of your home or office. They can bring light into a room or happiness into your heart. This is such a beautiful photo representing such a beautiful part of the State of Arizona. I have now lived in Arizona for 35 years and it only gets better for me. We used to camp in a meadow that resembles this in every way but the location. It had the 3 cabins almost set to the tee as these. We all would describe it as our special place. It was located off the 300 control road headed toward Chevlon Lake. Excellent work here, great lob !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tom
