Guanaco's are very social animals and often are thought to be Llamas. They are related as well as they are related to camels. This photograph was taken near Torre Del Paine National Park in Argentina. Here the Guanacos are multiplying rapidly as their natural predator, the Puma, has been severely reduced in numbers. Note the mother and her child (kid) with their heads virtually next to each other.
