Meteor Crater was created approximately 50,000 years ago when a meteor believed to be traveling 26,000 miles per hour slammed into the Earth and created a crater 2.4 miles in circumference and 550 feet deep.
About Richard Gehlbach
Two of my passions are traveling and photography. I caught the traveling bug when I was in the military. The love for photography actually developed when I was trying to capture memories of my children as they were growing older.
