Near Acuna a town on Chiloe Island in Chile one can find many nesting areas for the Magellan Penguin. These animals find areas that are somewhat isolated from humans and their predators, where they burrow into the ground and create nests to lay and incubate their eggs. The gather in communities where the parents will take turns watching the eggs or feeding.
