Located in Utah, just north of the Arizona border lies an area known as The Wave. A sandstone wonder that has been carved and molded by the wind for eons. Photographs can't seem to capture the true wonder of the area, which is managed by the Bureau of Land Management. Hikers wishing to enter the area must submit an entry to a lottery as the number of people allowed into the site each day is restricted to preserve it from excessive foot traffic and thus damage..

Two of my passions are traveling and photography. I caught the traveling bug when I was in the military. The love for photography actually developed when I was trying to capture memories of my children as they were growing older.
