Punta Arena is the southern most town in Chile. Sitting on the Straight of Magellan it is an anchorage for many ships that ply their trade in the dangerous waters surrounding Antarctica. The ship clearly shows the results of traveling in the rough waters and ever changing weather of the region known as Drakes Passage.

Two of my passions are traveling and photography. I caught the traveling bug when I was in the military. The love for photography actually developed when I was trying to capture memories of my children as they were growing older.
