Along the bank of the Rhine River, near Boppart, Germany, sits the small colorful village of Weinstadt Lorch. On this particular day low lying clouds, or one could say mist, was hanging low over the village. It covered most of the nearby mountains and shrouded some of the village, but the church stood majestically framed by the mist.

Two of my passions are traveling and photography. I caught the traveling bug when I was in the military. The love for photography actually developed when I was trying to capture memories of my children as they were growing older.
